My first paid post. I am thrilled. Thank you so much Pablo for suggesting such an interesting film to kickstart my Recommendations series! I hope you enjoy the review, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

So, let’s get right to it. This film is bananas.

Phase I.

We begin with inexplicable events in space - a War of the Worlds-esque monologue speaking out to us through the void. This is no surprise, as the story is based on one H.G Wells released in the early 20th century. Ants are affected before any other living being on Earth. They begin to make decisions and communicate in an unusual manner. Scientists E. Hubbs is the first to notice.

A note - the score is fantastic. Synthy and ominous as can be. Brian Gascoigne killed this.
